On her first day home we went to Paint Some Pottery and made our Father's Day present and got some ice cream.
When we went in the reptile house, Riley was having a full conversation about his favorites, the crocodiles (until I got out the video camera, of course.
Then of course we went to visit the penguin, which Logan loved. We aren't sure if he liked the penguins themselves (although he historically has liked them) or he thought our dog was at the zoo. Either way, mommy's favorite part of the day was when Logan started blowing the penguins kisses.

Thumbs up for zoo ice cream! |
Did you see that? |
They also really liked the pumas. In fact, Riley started talking fairly loudly. What I haven't mentioned is that he has discovered a lot of new sounds and when he says them fast, it sounds like he is speaking another language. In fact, while he was talking to the pumas a lady knelt down next to him and kept repeating "What are you saying?" (but not in the way you say that to babies who are cooing - she said it the way you would speak to an adult or older kid). Riley's puma rant was Daddy's favorite part of the day.
Tigers! Oh my! |
On Saturday and Sunday we visited the Sweeney family and then the Sasso family for Father's Day.
When we were visiting Grandpa Tony we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant called Sol. The boys ate so much no one at the table (except mom and dad) could believe it. We also got so messy that Mema had to was us in the sink.
On Monday, we went to the Saucon Valley shops and played in the fountain! What a great summer it has been so far! Riley started playing in the water right away, while Logan was more unsure. Once Logan got comfortable, there was no stopping him!
