Solid Food! (Well, kind of)

Yesterday Mema, Mommy, and Daddy went shopping to buy the boys Bumbo chairs. Logan and Riley tried out Ava's when we went to visit her and Adrienne on Tuesday. They sat really well in them, so we decided they needed a set. They seem to like them!

While at the store, Logan tried out a single stroller without his car seat and he LOVED IT! He did so well that mommy and daddy decided to take the boys on a walk today without the car seats. What a weight difference! The tank seemed tiny!

"Hey, next time I call shotgun!"

After our walk, we decided to go ahead and try out the rice cereal. Logan was up first. At first he seemed interested, but then started to get fussy and wanted his bottle.

Mommy had expected Riley to spit his out, but she was completely wrong! Despite the pictures looking like he didn't like it, he actually loved it! He ate the whole bowl and seemed to really enjoy it. He ate really well off a spoon!

After Logan finished his bottle, Daddy gave him a little more. He ended up eating about  half the bowl. It will probably loose its novelty pretty quickly, but mommy and daddy enjoyed feeding the boys with spoons!

We do know about the Bumbo recall and will get around to ordering the strap. We are not in a rush because we never leave the boys alone in their bumbo chairs, especially because Riley was able to get almost completely out of it by day 2 (that little guy can get out of anything!). We also only use it on the floor. Yes, you do see them on the chairs for the boys first feed, but that was because we did not put together our high chairs until the next day.
